The Council has statutory obligations in relation to the investigation of Children's Social Care complaints under the Children Act 1989 Representations Procedure (England) Regulations 2006, to provide Independent Investigating Officers, Independent Panellists and Independent Chairs who will assist the Council in meeting its obligations under the aforementioned legislation.
